The Apportable platform converts iOS games to Android automatically, without extensive changes to the original Objective-C or C++ code.

About the Founders


Android Collin
Collin Jackson founded Apportable so he could play all the awesome games on the iPad that just couldn't seem to make the leap over to Android any other way. Previously, he was a head judge for international Magic: The Gathering pro tournaments and built cross-platform software for Google and Cooliris. He has also been known to break the Internet once in a while with his web security research hacks as a faculty member at Carnegie Mellon University. Collin received his Ph.D. from Stanford University.


Android Ian
Ian Fischer was the founding engineer at security systems startup Usable, which was acquired by Webroot Software. He also has serious vocal chops and sings baritone in the San Francisco opera scene. He received his M.S. from Harvard and is on leave from a Ph.D. program at UC Berkeley.
